At Creature & Co., our mission is to ENTERTAIN, EDUCATE and EMPOWER families to act on the world’s challenges through engaging and accurate storytelling. But how can we encourage others to care for our planet without getting our own house in order first?
We’re delighted to be able to introduce our first ever Impact & Purpose Report which you can download below.
Creature & Co. are working towards joining over 700 other UK businesses as a B Corp. Whilst certification is the end goal, it’s by no means the most important part of the process.
The B Corp assessment framework is transforming our business for the better. We have always been a company who wanted to use our business as a force for good, and the B Corp Impact Assessment has given us clear direction on how to channel those good intentions into meaningful action.
We know consumers value honesty and gravitate towards authentic brands. It’s something that’s had a big impact (see what we did there?) at Creature & Co. Now we’re huge advocates to the great brands we partner with – and anyone else who will listen – about the benefits of creating their own Impact & Purpose Reports.
The report is not only a celebration of the positive impact our business has had over the past 12 months, but a public statement to hold us to account in the areas we need to improve on.
Businesses can’t improve what they aren’t measuring, so this report is the basis for implementing meaningful changes across the areas of governance, treatment of our employees, the environment, our community, and our customers.
Every department in the company contributed to providing the metrics in this report and all employees were invited to take part in the 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Survey referenced in this report.
“I’m so proud of the achievements we’ve made so far. My hope is that one day, this report will no longer need to be named the ‘Impact & Purpose Report’, but solely a report on the good we do through continuing to change our industry and our products for the better.” – Peter Johnson, Creature & Co. Managing Director.
